Brandon Watson

Oakdale Baptist Church is blessed to have Pastor Brandon Watson serving as our Senior Pastor. A Brunswick County native, Brandon brings over 20 years of pastoral experience and a deep passion for missions and outreach. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and his M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

After completing his studies, Brandon married his wife, Krissy, and together they have been blessed with a daughter, Claire. Outside of ministry, Brandon enjoys playing Fantasy Football and spending quality time with his family. He also serves with both Baptists on Mission and the Baptist State Convention and has participated in numerous mission trips across multiple countries.

Krissy Watson shares Brandon’s passion for missions and brings her own unique gifts to their ministry. She serves as the Dental Ministry Coordinator for N.C. Baptists on Mission (NCBM), overseeing the scheduling and promotion of two mobile dental units that host clinics across the state. With over 18 years of experience as a certified dental assistant, Krissy has also participated in numerous medical and dental mission trips to Costa Rica, Honduras, and Nicaragua. She holds an associate’s degree in health science/dental assisting from Florence Darlington Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in Christian studies from Anderson University.

Director of Family Ministry
Felecia Webb

Felecia has been a member of Oakdale for over 30 years and serves as the Director of Family Ministry. She has a varied background as a nurse, clinical educator, Classical Conversations community director, and homeschool mom, among other roles.

For the past decade, she has been actively involved in both the Children’s and Youth Ministries at Oakdale and trained under the previous youth pastor in family discipleship and relational ministry. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and Education from East Carolina University and is currently enrolled in the Ministry Certificate program at Southeastern Seminary.

Felecia is passionate about growing and discipling the children, youth, and families at Oakdale.

Worship Ministry Leader
Angie Ruffin

Angie grew up at Oakdale and has been involved in the Music Ministry since childhood. She currently leads the sanctuary choir and praise team and also serves in leadership within the Women’s Ministry.

Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from NC Wesleyan University, a Master’s degree in Education from East Carolina University, and a Certificate in Women’s Ministries from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Outside of church, she teaches 7th grade English Language Arts at North East Preparatory School in Tarboro.

Angie lives by the belief that we are “called to serve, not sit,” and she strives to reflect that philosophy through her ministry and service at Oakdale.
